Background

Dr. Donna Edwards provides comprehensive eye and vision care for patients of all ages at Simon Eye’s Bear location. Her clinical interests include pediatric eye care, dry eye, emergency eye care, contact lens management and ocular disease.

Dr. Edwards earned her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and received clinical honors in pediatrics, ocular disease and contact lens management. She enjoys solving complex cases and helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident about their eye health.

What I am most excited to bring to Simon Eye

I truly enjoy meeting new people and learning about their life journeys. I have a genuine passion for patient care, which I strive to demonstrate through every interaction and relationship I build. I am excited to help my patients achieve their best vision while ensuring they feel informed and confident about their eye health.

I am from

I grew up in a suburb of Kansas City, but I have always had East Coast roots because my parents are originally from the tri-state area. I visited the East Coast regularly while growing up and now live in Wilmington, Delaware.

You’re most likely to find me

You are most likely to find me reading on the beach, swimming in the ocean, watching my dog play at the dog park or trying a new coffee shop. My husband and I love traveling and exploring new places, which has also made our dog a very well-traveled pup. I enjoy supporting small businesses and participating in community outreach, and I look forward to continuing that involvement in Delaware.
