Biography

Background

Dr. Johnson is passionate about providing quality eye exams and educating patients on their eye health. He strives to improve understanding of eye health by taking time to thoroughly answer all his patient’s questions and concerns. Prior to optometry school, Dr. Johnson started working in eye care in college and has worked in many different positions in eye doctor offices: from front desk, to technician, to optician, and now as an optometrist. Dr. Johnson’s professional training and experience has focused on ocular disease, and he has extensive experience with the diagnosis and management of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, and other forms of pathology. Dr. Johnson sees patients ages 4 and up, and is happy to provide comprehensive eye care to all of his patients.

What I am most excited to bring to Simon Eye

I am excited to be able to care for my patients with thorough and efficient eye examinations, and to educate patients on their eye health so that patients can make effective decisions about their eyes.

I was born and raised in Palmyra, PA outside of Hershey, PA, and now live in Hockessin, DE.
