My background
get to know me
Grateful for the eye care she had received since she was a two-year-old, Dr. Ford knew she wanted to pursue a career in optometry from a young age. Her experience working as an optometric technician in college solidified her decision and she later earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona,California. Her time spent at internship locations including multiple private practices, the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Orange County Retina provided her with experience in primary eye care, ocular disease, vision therapy, and contact lenses. She ventured to the east coast to pursue a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. Prepared with a variety of experience and a personal passion for eye care, Dr. Ford aims to give her patients the best care possible.
I look forward to helping improve the quality of life for my patients through a holistic,patient-centered approach to optometry.
I am from Murrieta, California and I currently reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
When I’m not behind the slit lamp or phoropter, you can find me hiking at a National Park, singing too loudly at an indie pop or folk concert, or swimming in the nearest body of water.
